Vicki Gorman, Soprano
Vicki Gorman has performed as soprano soloist for the Honolulu Symphony, Chamber Music Hawaii, the Maui Symphony, the California Symphony, and the Lutheran Church of HonoluluÕs Abendmusiken series. She sang the role of Mrs. Gobineau in the Golden Key OperaÕs summer production of The Medium at the Hawaii Theatre. Vicki has performed with Hawaii Opera Theatre, Central City Opera, Boston Concert Opera, the Monadnock Music Festival, C.W. Post Summer Opera, Ohio Light Opera, and College Light Opera. She received her Master of Music degree in vocal performance from the New England Conservatory of Music. A member of the voice faculty at Brigham Young University Hawaii and Punahou Music School, Vicki serves as District Governor for the Hawaii Chapter of the National Association of Teachers of Singing. She is listed in the 2005 edition of WhoÕs Who Among AmericaÕs Teachers. Vicki resides in Kaneohe with her husband, Honolulu Symphony double-bassist Michael Gorman, and their two sons. |
